Even very long journey stars from very single step
My journey into the realm of IT began a long time ago when I was just a small, curly-headed boy.
It all started when my dad bought me my first computer—an Atari 800 XL.
This machine, equipped with 64KB of RAM and a 1.72 MHz processor, may seem mediocre by today’s standards,
but these day that misterious black-silver box was for me something more that just a computer it was kind of magic,
and a gateway to a magical world and an escape from the dull, grey reality of socialism of late-80’s Poland.
These days determined my way and I started to dream about becoming
a game developer. Software development these days was an profession on a border of art and magic,
the internet didn't exist yet (beside the American army) and there was very little literature about that subject.
Also for a very weak boyish nature was difficult to accomplish its dreams. So many years passed before my dreams finally started to take shape.
It was a journey filled with struggles, often against the flaws of my own character.
But in fact the journey itself is more important than the target.
